Welcome to VILNERGOY.ORG...why vilnergoy ? Well, I have spent some years in Vilnius, where I have first learnt, then taught Yiddish. As I'm not a Jew (hence a "goy"), I chose this nickname, in honour of the great Jewish scholar, the Vilna Gaon (in yiddish: der vilner goen).
